Visa CHECKCARD Usage Facts
The VISA CHECKCARD gives you all of the features of a traditional ATM card with the ability to pay for items at any location that accepts VISA, without having to write a check

Traveling outside of the U.S.
It is a fact that the risk of fraud is significantly greater outside of the United States. To lower risk of fraudulent transactions, the Bank restricts use of our cards outside of the United States.
If you are planning to travel outside the United States, contact the Bank to have your card activated for use in foreign countries during your travel dates.

Did you know?

The Bank presets daily ATM withdrawal and daily Merchant Point-of-Sale (POS) transaction dollar limits. If you believe that your limits may not meet your needs, please contact your local First Bank Office. These amounts may be increased or decreased upon Bank approval.

If you use your Visa CHECKCARD to make travel reservations, be aware that many companies will put a pre-authorization hold on your Visa CHECKCARD for the full amount. Many travelers opt to use a Credit Card for reservations, but at checkout, pay with their Visa CHECKCARD.

CHECKCARD Security Tips

Do not use an ATM if you notice any suspicious persons or activity. Find another ATM or go back at another time.

At an ATM, be careful that others cannot look over your shoulder to watch you enter your PIN.

Do not leave receipts or carbon copies of your receipts behind.

If your card is lost or stolen, immediately report it to the Bank.
