Business Relationship Assistant – Abingdon/Bristol

 
The First Bank and Trust Company is seeking a Business Relationship Assistant to support our Business Relationship Representatives in the Northeast Tennessee/Southwest Virginia area. The position will be located in Bristol, VA/TN or Abingdon, VA.   The Business Relationship Assistant will be required to provide excellent customer customers service and perform administrative duties for the department.  The position will ensure all forms are received and filed in a timely manner. The individual will be knowledgeable of all related products and also assist in service calls to customers. 
 
An associate’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred. Three years of prior banking experience, accounting or related experience is preferred. The successful candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills, will be self-motivated, well-organized and able to work well in a team environment. Branch Manager/Loan Officer – Harrisonburg, VA and Christiansburg, VA

 

The First Bank and Trust Company is seeking an Experienced Branch Manager/Loan Officer for the Harrisonburg Branch and Christiansburg Branch. Responsibilities include managing the branch office staff and extending credit to businesses and individuals. The individual will be responsible for the origination and underwriting of Consumer and Commercial Loans. The Branch Manager/Loan Officer will be responsible for community outreach and growth of the deposit base for the branch.

 

The candidate must have at least 5 years of banking experience. The qualified individual must possess the proven ability to build a strong referral network, develop and grow both new and existing relationships, provide innovative financial solutions to customers and prospects, and demonstrate strong credit skills. The candidate must be a self-started and team player, and have strong computer skills, including Excel and Word. The First Bank and Trust Company is seeking a Full-Time Teller for the Staunton and Woodstock Branch. This position is responsible for providing professional, efficient and accurate financial transaction processing. The candidate should be detail oriented and provide superior customer service. The Teller will be responsible for identifying and promoting the Bank's products and services.

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior banking experience is preferred but not required. The candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills and must be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
