Commercial Credit Analyst – New River Valley and Lynchburg

 
The First Bank and Trust Company is seeking an Experienced Commercial Credit Analyst to be located in the New River Valley Region or Lynchburg to support the bank’s Commercial Loan Officers. The Commercial Credit Analyst will be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial information for commercial loans to determine the amount of risk involved in the credit decision and provide concise and accurate written reports to reflect the findings.
 
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics and/or Finance is required. Three to five years of commercial credit analysis experience is required. The candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills, self-motivated, an active listener and learner, and able to work in a team environment. The candidate must be well organized, demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, and have strong computer skills, including Excel. EOE/AA/M/F/Disabled/Veteran.

Head Teller:  Fairlawn,  VA

The First Bank and Trust Company is seeking an experienced Head Teller for the Fairlawn, VA Branch. This position is responsible for providing professional, efficient and accurate financial transaction processing. The individual will be responsible for daily supervision of the teller staff.  The Head Teller will be responsible for promoting the Banks products and services through daily interaction with customers.

An associate’s degree is preferred but not required, high school diploma or equivalent is required. Five years of prior banking experience is required. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills and must be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
