With Direct Deposit, First Bank and Trust Company offers the possibility of early access to funds for incoming electronic direct deposits processed through the Automated Clearing House (ACH). Funds may be made available up to two days before the scheduled payment date. The timing of funds availability is subject to variation and is not guaranteed, contingent factors include receipt of payment instructions from the payor, any predefined limitations on early access, and standard protocols for fraud prevention. This service is exclusively available for personal accounts. 

 

Eligible direct deposits include electronic transfers of funds such as payroll, pension, and government benefit payments initiated through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) to your personal account. Deposits or credits from other sources such as person-to-person payment services (e.g., Zelle®, Venmo, or PayPal transfers), check or mobile deposits, and various online transfers or electronic credits do not qualify for early availability.
