Check Positive Pay protects your checking account from check fraud attempts. Positive Pay is an easy, automated process that will save you time, money and the frustration of dealing with a compromised account. It only takes a few minutes to set up, and our dedicated Commercial Deposit team provides the training and support.
How does it work?
Check Positive Pay matches the account number, check number, payee and dollar amount of each check presented for payment against a list of checks previously authorized and issued by the company.
If a check attempting to clear does not match information submitted, First Bank and Trust will alert you first. Following notification, you will have the final decision to "Pay or Return" the check from within business online banking.
