Coming September 3: Enhanced Business Online Banking Features
August 6, 2026
At First Bank and Trust Company, we’re committed to providing the tools and technology your business needs to manage finances efficiently and securely. On Thursday, September 3, we're introducing our enhanced Business Online Banking experience.
Don’t worry - Cash Manager isn’t going away just yet. Cash Manager will remain available while we encourage customers to explore and begin using the new features available within the payments menu. Over time, these new menu options and added features will become our primary online banking solution for businesses, and functions currently available within the Cash Manager tab will go away. We encourage you to become familiar with the new features as we continue this exciting transition over the next several months.
What’s New
Beginning Thursday, September 3rd, you’ll enjoy a variety of enhanced features designed to make managing your business finances easier than ever, including:
-
Mobile Capabilities - Keep business moving on the go by managing users and alerts, paying bills, reviewing Check and ACH Positive Pay exceptions, managing ACH allow and block lists, creating or approving ACH batches and domestic wires, and securely chatting with the bank or your team.
-
Customizable Alerts - Stay updated with customizable alerts tailored to your needs. Get real-time notifications on what matters most to your business operations.
-
Secure Chat - Our secure chat feature allows you to converse in real-time with bank representatives or discuss business safely among your internal team.
System Maintenance on Wednesday, September 2
To support the successful onboarding of new features to the Business Online Banking Platform, scheduled system maintenance will take place beginning at 5:00 pm ET on Wednesday, September 2.
During this maintenance window, Business Online Banking services may be temporarily unavailable. We appreciate your patience as we complete these important upgrades. Every effort is being made to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth transition. Once maintenance is complete, you’ll be able to access the new features within the Business Online Banking Platform using your existing credentials, and you will continue to have access to Cash Manager.
Additional reminders and timing details will be shared as the launch date for the new features approaches.
Your Account Alerts
Your existing account alerts currently configured within Cash Manager will migrate to Settings>Alerts within the Business Online Banking menu as part of the conversion process on September 2nd, allowing you to continue receiving important account notifications without interruption.
After logging into Business Online Banking for the first time following system maintenance on 9/2, we encourage you to review your alert settings to verify they continue to meet your business needs and to take advantage of any new alert options that may be available.
Please note that any edits made to account alerts within Cash Manager after the migration on 9/2 will not continue to update under Settings>Alerts within Business Online Banking.
We’re Here to Help
Our business customer support team is committed to making this transition as easy as possible. Additional information, helpful resources, and user guides will be provided before the new features launch on September 2nd.
If you have questions or need assistance at any point during the transition, please contact our business customer support team directly by calling (866) 700-5115.
Thank you for choosing First Bank and Trust Company. We appreciate the opportunity to serve your business and look forward to providing you with enhanced features for your business online banking experience.
