HANOVER, Virg., May 5, 2025 – First Bank and Trust Company, a diversified financial services firm with $3.93 billion in assets, proudly announces the addition of Andrew Turner as Vice President – Agriculture/Commercial Lender at its Hanover branch. With eight years of experience in the financial services industry, Andrew brings a strong foundation in agricultural lending and a people-first philosophy to his new role.

In his new position, Andrew will work closely with farmers, agribusinesses, and commercial customers to develop tailored financial solutions that meet the unique demands of the agriculture industry. “With the current ag economy, having a trusted financial partner is more important than ever,” said Andrew. “I aim to be a resource that understands the long-term nature and complexities of the agricultural industry.”

Andrew's path into financial services was driven by a desire to make a positive difference. Andrew is especially passionate about working with the row crop and forestry sectors, recognizing their cyclical nature and unique financial challenges. Andrew earned a business degree from Roanoke College and resides in Hampton Roads with his wife, Erin. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his friends, family and two dogs.
